Top 2 Tuesday- I WANT...

7.20.2010

Hey muffin heads :) Happy Tuesday! I hope you guys all had a wonderful day! For me? Well, not so much. But I am not going to bother you with my complaints and ramblings about this stupid day. Let's just leave it at, "I had a really bad day, and tomorrow will be better." :)

So here are my Top 2 "WANTS"...This was easy because there are about 15 items on my growing "WANT" list.

1.A Canon 50D.

O.M.G. I have been wanting one of these soooooo bad. I don't know when I will get one, but I LOVE taking pictures, and I do it all the time. I'm not planning on being a professional photographer or anything, but I have taken some Senior Portraits for people, and they turned out pretty good! Ah! I can't wait to get my hands on this sexy device! :) The pictures that are taken with this camera are simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I am def. saving for this pricy but wonderful investment.
2. A new couch.

I love this couch, but I would want it in a different color.

My couches are so gross. I mean, I can barely sit on them without feeling disgusting. Okay, okay, so that sentence sounds like I don't clean my house, and that is not the case lol. THE reason why I want a new couch is because the ones we have are black, and you can see any and everything on them. I got them my sophomore year in college, and they have been through a lot. I think it's time we say goodbye and get ourselves a new one. Hubs agrees, but we are saving for that as well.

Gosh, I hate saving. Why can't I just win the lottery!? :(

The good news is I'm learning the meaning of patience :) We don't put anything on credit cards, and we save for something we want. When we get it, it feels so rewarding, and we don't have to worry about paying it off.
The only bad side is the wait. The longgggg, painful suffering of waiting to get something you really want. I just keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end :)

  1. What a great top 2!!! A new couch is #1 on my list... when I get married in 3 months, the fiance's old, rugged, gross bachelor couch has GOT TO GO!!! haha! Hope you're having a great week!

  2. I feel you on the patience thing! :) It's hard to shut off that "instant gratification" voice, but I have to admit my mom was right and I do appreciate things more when I save up for them!
