We actually just got back from watching "Life As We Know It" at the movies, and it was so cute. Josh Duhamel (whom I've actually met and talked to in person, and let me just say, he is extremely NICE and a true gentleman. I was impressed, and not just by his looks ;)) made a quote in the beginning of the movie, more or less, "making fun" and assuming that Katherine Heigl was a "blogger" when he referenced her nightly activities. I looked at my husband, and smiled. What the heck does THAT mean!? ;) I do though y'all. I enjoy this. AND even though there are many reasons why I like "blogging" bits and parts to my life, reminiscing on the past, or even using it as a planner...Regardless, I'm happy to be here. That's all.
So...Here I sit. Looking at this gigantic mess on my desk. Gross.
Munchin' on Halloween Oreos and gulping milk out of an old Dickey's BBQ cup.
And of course, the little rascals are barking at me to throw their rope.
We need to work on their manners.
Let's see. What's been going on... My cousin's wedding was last weekend. It was a beautiful wedding, and as always, she was gorgeous as ever.
As I posted earlier in the week...it was Piper's 2nd birthday. We celebrated with playing rope outside...
With pupperoni's (his fav snack) and let him have some mac n' cheese...his favorite 'human food' :). We also got him a new outfit.
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's PIPERMANNNNNN! ;)
I also was a hostess for a co-worker's baby shower this week. I was in charge of the cake, so I decided I'd make it. My very first "cake" people. The first batch stuck to the pan. Fail.
But, I finally finished at 3:50 a.m.
I also made this fruit bowl.
And these cupcakes.
Not the best I could do, but I was so tired. Let's just say that night was trial and error. I tried to make everything from scratch. The mix and the icing. That didn't work, so hubs and I ran to HEB at midnight to start over. People said it tasted good, so I call that a SUCCESS! ;)
We had a Starbucks date this weekend. Another Pumpkin Spice Latte bit the dust.
I saw some pretty things.
And some not so pretty things.
Butt, ;) Overall, it was a really nice weekend.
The Social Network. Life As We Know It. Mexican Food. BBQ. Hot Dogs. Sleep. College Football. NFL. Cleaned house. Caught up on Laundry. Grocery Shopped. Clean Sheets. Mmmm. Speaking of clean sheets...I need to get to bed.
More wedding posts to come. I know, I've said that before, but I am really going to try to get to the actual WEDDING DAY! ;)
