Crazy! Keep Japan and everyone else involved in your prayers! So terribly sad! :( My heart goes out to them...
In other news...
This week has been so hectic too, so I'm really screaming TGIF today! Tomorrow I shoot my first ever wedding and I am stinkin' excited!!! Scared and nervous, but veryyyyyyy happy! :) I also have a senior photoshoot on Sunday in Houston, so that should be fun. Business is picking up, and even though I'm tired, I couldn't be more blessed! I really hope all this hard work will pay off one day! :)
Besides a busy work week, a presentation, and softball games, my week was just another week. Hubs and I did get to go on our date though :) Those are always fun! Especially when MEXICAN food is involved! Delish!
Happy Boy! :)
Ohhh yeah...GET IN MY BELLYYYYY!
This may or may not be my plate. I'll never telllll. ;) OKAY, it's mine! I'm a fatty!!! It's cool, I have come to terms with this.
Drew is going to hurt me for this one. Somebody ate a little too much...He makes me smile.
You know your full face looks this bad too! :)
Now tell me something. When you go out on a date with your man, do you dress alike? You know, if he wears shorts, do you wear a dress/skirt or shorts too? Or do you wear jeans only if he wears jeans? Here I am, dressed for winpring (winter-spring) and he's all ready for summer. I told him to put on pants and he refused! I let him win this time...but I felt like THE awkward couple! Haha. I am married to a very stubborn man...
Is it bad that I want to go back tonight? We usually do Mexican food on Friday nights...and OMG I want some of this NEOWWW!
I guess this is all folks. I'm not too interesting today. BUT I will try to continue my wedding post this evening! :)
Kees kees!
Don't forget to set your clocks forward on Sunday! I am SOOOO not looking forward to this. I'm tired already and now I'm getting an hour of sleep taken away from me! No me gusta!!!!
Oh em gee, I love his full face, I totally look like that (or worse) as well when I'm FULL! HA!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your wedding shoot this weekend, how exciting! I'm sure you'll do great!
Hey hey hey! I hope you have a good weekend, and I can't wait to see your wedding pics! I am still going over pricing with my fiance for the wedding, so bear with me and I will get with your probably early next week. Could you send me pricing for the booth too? I definitely need that at my wedding!!
ReplyDeleteWe're kinda like that too with our clothes! My hubby is always busting out the shorts a little too early!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful weekend! Have fun at the wedding :)
My husband and I love Mexican food too! And this post is making me want some now! :)

lol. I eat Mexican all the time! Best food ever! hahaha ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I know what you mean about the hubby dressing when going out. He likes to mix up the casual look with dressy shoes or vice versa. lol! And he is very stubborn as well.
I hope you have a great wedding shoot and I know you'll take awesome pictures! Have fun!!
Oh my gosh, I am so that way about how my husband dresses according to me! I can't stand it when I wanna wear sweats and he comes out looking all nice and cute in his jeans and a half zip pull over! Ha!
ReplyDeleteHaha, ya'll are too cute. Good luck on the first shoot. And gotta love your trip to Houston, I am awful fond of that place! Of course I love Texas too :) Glad I stopped by your beautiful blog!

Um hello I like your style.. My bf wears the most casual things ever and I'm always overdressed standing next to him... It's his fault not mine.. They want us to look cute right? :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Mexican food, but it's really hard to find in Paris.. I love that your hubby went out in shorts and flip-flops. Yay for summer coming back soon ! Bisous !
ReplyDeletehave so much fun tomorrow, I can't wait to hear all about it!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the shoot! And I KNOW, I don't want to miss that hour of sleep!! :(
ReplyDeleteWe don't dress alike although I get secret pleasure when we do. :)
ReplyDeleteMexican food sounds amazing right now! I've been absent from all aspects of life (except the couch and tv) because of wisdom teeth this week. I'm glad I'll get to catch up on your blog!
Mexican food sounds SO great right now. I think I might be able to eat a cheese burrito - it's probably soft enough. YUM. Glad you had fun on your date night!
i could eat mexican food every.single.night.
ReplyDeletewhat?
i like your hubbys outfit of optimism.
I like your photos. You guys are adorable! I can't believe it's already time to switch our clocks! Warm weather is almost here. :) I am your newest follower! You have an awesome blog!
ReplyDeleteAny girl that can pack some Mexican food like THAT is a friend of mine! Oh. Yeah. (Oh, the stories I could tell you.)
ReplyDeleteMy Dad was born in Del Rio, TX, just 2 miles from the Mexican border. I always joke that if his Dad had driven the wrong way when his mom was in labor, things could be a whole lot different today. Haha! Anyway, Mexican food is in my blood.
Your hubby's outfit? Pretty much ridic. with yours. ;) That's a guy for you. Stubborn like bulls, they are.
You're going to be great tomorrow!!! Breathe. Don't forget all your lenses...and clean them first...and charge your batteries...and bring an extra compact flash! Anything else? Haha!
Exciting!
Sophisticated Steps
Loving your scarf! :)
ReplyDeletehaha! This post totally made me laugh out loud. LOVE the pic of the two of you in your outfits. But hey, I always think couples who dress ALIKE are a little funny, so I think you two looked just great :)
ReplyDeleteHA- his full face and the comment about your plate crack me up- don't worry, as a Shalyn it is your duty to finish your plate of mexican food everytime...
ReplyDeleteand to crave it again 20 minutes later! ha!
