Yesterday, my Granny went to heaven. My granny was 96 years old, and she passed in her sleep. She lived a good life, and I will miss her so much.
I know she is smiling down today because she is reunited with her husband, whom passed even before I was born. I can't imagine how happy she is right now. She is probably doing the world's biggest happy dance :)

My great grandmother was 96 too when she passed away this past December. It was so difficult to deal with, but just like you, I know she is happy to be with my Peppo in heaven. He passed away about 15 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers while you go through this difficult time.

Hello Beautiful
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. My Nana is turning 96 this coming year, so we are treading water with her, too. Imagine everything you see and do in 96 years? I am sure your Granny lived such a beautiful, exciting, and educating life - and you are right, she must be smiling down with your grandfather today in complete peace =)
My thoughts are with you,
Kym

im so so sorry love :( I know exactly how you feel. My grandmother just passed away at the end of March at the age of 95...it's really really sad, but at the same time, it's so awesome that she was able to live for SO LONG.
ReplyDeleteHer last year or so she was getting a bit older, as in she was having trouble walking, etc..but up until she was 94 she was still making my family delicious soup and spaghetti sauce! Ugh I will miss her cooking! But it's so great that you said she is up there with her hubby :) I love that!
I hope you are doing okay <3 <3
