Weekend Update.

1.21.2013

Good afternoon friends!

Today I'm linking of with Sami and Leann for the first time ever. They are cutie patootie's and their link-up just seems appropriate for my weekend recap! :) Win-win? I think so! Go check out their blogs! :)

This past weekend was awesome, and even though a little work was involved, I got to spend it with some lovely people.

Saturday morning Piper attacked Drew in bed and I couldn't stop laughing. The noises Mr. Pipes was making make me laugh just thinking about it. These two...melt my heart.

I edited most of the day and then went to dinner to celebrate birthday's with the Hey, Sweet Pea team at Tacos N' Tequila.  The food was so good and we went out for coffee and dessert afterwards.

Sunday I went to my friend Kara's baby shower and showered her with love and gifts. We got to play in her photo booth too which is always fun if you ask me.

After the shower, Drew and I went to dinner with my two older brother's and sister-in-laws to celebrate birthdays.

I got home and literally walked to the bed and crashed out. I don't know why I was so tired, but my eyes were like, "Um, and we're done." Birthday week is over and I'd be lying if I wasn't just a little sad about it! :)

All in all, it was a good weekend. How was yours?

I'll be back tomorrow with a DIY pillow case. I kind of love it and hope you will too. :)

Update.

2.01.2012

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

I'm back from my snowboarding trip and it was SO. MUCH. FUN. I loveeee snowboarding. It's seriously one of my favorite hobbies in this world. I'm so thankful my best friends in high school got me hooked. I loveee it! AND this time, I got better (as in more comfortable) with toe side. Good news, there were no broken bones! I only came back with a couple of bruises on my bum. Whoop whoop!

I will be doing a recap of my trip shortly, but right now I have a zillion and a half pictures to edit. I did happen to run across a quote today that seriously rocked my socks off.

"Once upon a time, we believed the world was flat – that beyond a certain point, there would be nowhere to go, And though we now know the world is round, we still fear falling off imaginary edges, too often thinking there’s only so far we can stretch, so hard we can push. The most dangerous limits are those in our own head. When you feel you’re at your edge, look again. You can go farther."

Love it. Love it. Love it.

I'll be back asap!
