Guest Post: Meet Stephanie! :)

10.17.2012

Hi love bugs! Today I have someone I really want you to meet. Have you ever just, you know...met someone who you literally just immediately connect with and just want to hug the ever loving mess out of? I mean, I haven't met this sweet lady in person yet, but she shares the same heart for God as I do, she's drop dead gorgeous, a photographer, and just TALENTED as all get out. I admire her to the core and I'm SO excited to introduce you to her. READ it. It's amazing. You can thank me later! :)

Hello So Shay Readers!

Stephanie here, from stephaniesterjovski.com.

I’m a lifestyle blogger, photographer & print shop owner.

I’m so happy to be here, I know Shay shares her beautiful heart on here with you all and while she is away I thought I’d share something that has been on my thoughts.

Lately I have felt so inspired to make more choices to being happy, I don’t know if it is because of the book I just finished, “The Happiness Project”, Shay’s post on Thursday about the trip to the pumpkin patch amidst her tough time or my Faith in God, but it’s already making such a difference in my life. It all just resonated with me that being happy is a priority that should be on our checklists. We fill our calendars up with so many things, from, but how much time do we make for ourselves in a day to be present and make ourselves happy?

There are a few simple tricks that aren’t a huge secret, and it can make your life happier. The answer is not fame, or fortune. It is the little things like cutting out bad habits and doing things with intention to be happy. Maybe you need to lose your phone for a while and step away from all technology, maybe you’re not taking enough time in the day for yourself to just relax and laugh, maybe you’re too busy criticizing every little thing that happens to you in a day. If you start your day and spill coffee all over your shirt before you have to leave, that’s okay! So many people fret over the first thing that doesn’t go their way and then it snowballs in to “the worst day.”

Essentially it is a choice we make to be present, you cannot rely on other things or other people to make you happy, it’s all about your perspective and attitude. I’ve come to understand that although we do not have to be grateful for the horrible or tragic things that happen to us, we just have to have gratitude about life altogether. I read a quote once that said, “someone else is happy with less than what you have.” Now we all have our days where we can get down and let our emotions pour out, because it sure is no good for them to stay in there and weigh heavy on our hearts. It just means that you are happy not because everything is perfect, but because you choose to be. The lesson I am learning about life is that gratitude is the key to happiness, because it is gratitude that turns all that yuck we tend to feel at times, or during unfortunate circumstances, into bigger and better blessings.

Well look at me getting all deep on you here & we just met! That’s how I do :)

I am also making conscious decisions to stay on a positive track, and usually when I commit to things I make lists! Yep, I’m one of those list makers, I can’t get anything done without one. These are super easy and we can all do them:

1. Eat Healthier (being aware of what I consume! I sure don’t need that donut, okay maybe just one *wink* )

2. Don’t procrastinate (valuable to all students out there, who feels me!?)

3. Sleep more (this improves my happiness drastically)

4. Don’t complain over trivial things (let it go, let God)

5. Be a blessing to someone today! The little things are really the big things in life.

I thought I’d end off by sharing a bit of my happy with you all in the best way I know how, pictures!…

My sweet boy, Bandit.

My husky & I are obsessed with each other, I am probably more extreme than your typical “crazy dog lady.” He is getting older and that scares me a bit, because I don’t think I could bare the thought of the day where I enter the house and he isn’t there wagging his tail at me, jumping and licking with excitement. I choose to enjoy every precious moment I have with him and keep him as healthy as I possibly I can. Dogs bring me so much happiness; I don’t think I could ever live without one, especially this special boy. He is so good, a sneaky little wolf, but he puts the biggest smile on my face.

My Best Friend.

Neal is my long-time boyfriend, but more than that he is my best friend. He is my biggest supporter and does things regularly to make my heart smile. Little things every day & big romantic gestures too. I think it’s the little things that mean the most to me though, because they make up so much of who he is. He doesn’t need a day or occasion to celebrate or show me how much he loves me. He also co-photographs with me! I wish I had more eloquent words to describe what an amazing man he is and write out the long list of charming, sweet things he has said and done for me. I wish for this kind of a love for everyone.

Photography.

This sets my heart on fire! I have found so much peace and joy in this work. I have been doing photography on and off since 2010, but recently launched my own business earlier on this year. It has been a huge blessing; I have been able to meet such sweet and amazing people. I love what I do; it brings me fulfillment and happiness.

So, happy is the buzzword of the day. I know you can find it, all you have to do is adjust some little things and you will see a huge change in your health and state of mind. I had so much fun guest blogging and talking to you all today, and hopefully you took away something positive to apply to your life too.

Blessings,

Stephanie

Hey guys! Meet Ketrin! :)

1.26.2012

Hey guys! I'm probably on the road right about now...and on VACATION. Wait...did I just say VACATION!? Yes. Yes I did. It's a MUCH needed break from my crazy life...so I thought I'd introduce you to the most precious muffin in the whollllleeee world. We actually work together (at my 8-5 job) and trust me...you wanna know her. I love her so much and I know you will too.

Hey guys!! I’m Ketrin- weird I know. Like Gretchen, but with a K.

I met Shalyn about 6 months ago when I started working with her & loved her from day 1

Then the best thing ever happen.. She got promoted and moved to my team!!

I spend 40 hours a week roughly 10 feet away from Shalyn..

That’s right. I am the most envied person alive right now by all of you readers.

Gosh it feels good!

I’m convinced it’s better to live life the way Shalyn does. I honestly can’t say enough about this girl. She makes my day.. every. Single. Day. If it wasn’t for her.. I honestly don’t know if I’d go to work. I’m not joking one bit either.

I figured I’d blog about this time a year ago when my life took many twists and turns which lead me to the position I’m in now.

January 15, 2011 I was heading to India & also began dating the love of my life.
Photobucket
Photobucket
I don’t know what exactly made me want to go to India after graduating college early.. probably the movie The Little Princess or something from way back when that put the idea in my brain.. then 15+ years later it surface and ya I decided to get my belly dancing on.
Photobucket
I went to India for 5 weeks to travel around a bit and mainly work in an orphanage for the disabled. I also taught many children from the slums. A couple times I thought, “what the heck am I doing here.. worst idea ever” But it was, without a doubt, the best thing I have ever done in my life.
Photobucket
I traveled to Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur and I taught in a small town outside of Faridibad. I lived on site at the orphanage and basically didn’t shower for 5 weeks. I know I know hot right?
Photobucket
So, now for the romance- I met Tiel.. yes like the color.. in December of 2010 & immediately fell for him. It was what you could say love at first sight, but I lived in West Texas still & he in Austin. We saw each other a handful of times for that month and completely fell for each other. I didn’t expect anything to happen before India and worried that things would be different when I got back to the US. & then as I was on the plane to fly to India (where I would barely communicate with him for 5 weeks) he texts that he is going to call me his because that is what I am. I had already sent the “okay I am turning off my phone” text that you send out as your taxing on the run way. That was literally the longest 14 hours and 10 minutes of my life. We talked here and there while in India and really got to know one another through emails. It’s crazy to think the first month of our relationship was spent thousands of miles apart, but we made it. In fact I think it helped out in ways. I returned from India and eventually moved down here. Got a job. Built a home with Tiel. & now it’s a year later!
Photobucket
I blog at www.knowingketrin.blogspot.com mainly about my travels (I’m obsessed with traveling-33 stamps and counting-but this whole grown up job thing with a certain # of PTO days is reallllly interfering with that), Mia (my miniature shih tzu), the love life, and various recipes. & a ton of other random events and what not. There is really no category you could place on it. If you’re into random crazy fun then you might want to click on over there and read a couple entries!!

Have a fabulous week!

Raven Razzlepants!

12.06.2011

I'm sure many of you know who Raven is. If you don't, I highly recommend you go get to know her because she is one of my all time favorite bloggers. Her sense of humor & her stunning HOT MAMA looks had me from hello. Cheesy, I know but I really can't explain how much I love this lady. I call her Raven Razzlepants...and DDHP may or may not have a major crush on her. #thetruth

A skeleton walks into a bar and orders a beer and a mop.

Get it?

I know. Ha. ha. ha.

Not the funniest joke in the world, but you get my point. Because when I really get to thinking, there isn't much in this world I love more than laughing. Really laughing. I'm talking, the ugly kind of laughing, when snorts sneak out, your face gets all wrinkly, and if something is really funny, well, let's just say a change of pants may be in order.

Just like giving a hug or a kiss, laughing is universal. It's the same in every language. Not to mention that it just feels so darn good to laugh. Am I right or am I right?

Photobucket
(the best kind, in my opinion)

I mean, a guy can be a Ryan Gosling clone, with all the money in the bank, but if he's dead as a doornob? Outta the game sucker! Same goes with friends. I don't know about you, but I tend to hold on tightly to the ones who make me laugh 'til I cry.

Photobucket

Like I said earlier, laughing is universal.

Everyone gets it.

Photobucket

Ok, let me try this again:

Two blondes walk into a bar. You'd think one of them would have seen it.

No? Ok, how 'bout...

A grasshopper walks into a bar. The bartender says, "we have a drink named after you!"
The grasshopper says, "really? You have a drink named Bob?"

Alright. I'll stop.

Just remember...as cliche as it is, laughter really is the best medicine.

Even the ugly, scrunched up nose, wrinkled eyes kind of laugh.

Photobucket

An Irishman walks past a bar....hey, it could happen.

(sorry, had to throw that last one in there)

-----------------

THANK YOU SO MUCH RAVEN! Laughter is ALWAYS the best medicine. Now go get to know her. You can thank me later.

You need to read why Ashley is the bomb.com: Guest Post!

11.22.2011

I love Ashley. She's an Atlanta smokeshow. She's super sweet. She makes me laugh. AND she can run better than Forrest Gump. Don't believe me!? Go check her out...AFTER you read this post.

I love Shalyn
(and her blog)

I love her as much as I love Atlanta

as much as I love sugar and sweets

As much as I love Ryan Reynolds….

You get the picture……LOVE!

Which is why…..

I Want to Go to Blog-Land

I’m not exactly sure where Blog-land is geographically but I just know it has to exist….

And I also know that

In blog land....Austin Texas is the next street over from Atlanta. Maryland, Massachusetts and Utah are in the neighborhood. And Spokane and Kennewick Washington?…..totally the next block up.

In Blogland, I get to see the Dream Team every day…..and we all wear

GO BLOG OR GO HOME Sweatshirts.
 Photobucket

With BIG TEXAS Sister Wives hair and sunnies of course because…..well, that’s just sexy.

Photobucket

Since Blog-land is magically 90 degrees and sunny every day, we get paid to layout by the pool and have photoshoots with our photogs.
Photobucket

We have group fitness hour to keep up our supermodel shapes

We celebrate birthdays, half birthdays and basically getting out of bed with our Queen Party Planner

Every night we have family dinner on the BEST-decorated table in blog-land.
Photobucket

Where we all get tipsy off too much Diet Sun Drop

And then we play with Gunner and Colt and Shay-b’s fur-babies

And then we have a dance party......

Sometimes it's a costume party.....

Rob, Kurt, Stone and DDHP all come too….and DDHP shows off his fantastic dance moves.

So basically I want to go to Blog-Land because I am OBSESSED with these girls

Who's coming with me?!

XO, A

?

THANK YOU SO MUCH ASH! I love love love this! XOXOXO!

Have an awesome day y'all!

Rissy Rocks.

11.21.2011

Hi friends...I'm getting really good at this whole not-blogging regime aren't I? Thank you for all your comments and I swear I will be writing you back soon! I have a ton of excuses but I've been too busy for my own good.

That said, I hope to be blogging in full swing again soon, but until then, I have a couple of sweethearts who kindly offered to fill up some of my white space.

Rissy has been on my blog before because well, she's the cutest muffin on the planet. I was texting her the other day and she kindly offered to send me a guest post. She warned me that she wasn't very good at following through when she said she would guest post...but she did. And I think she might have had a glass of wine or two before writing this. :) I love her and if you don't know her, go check out her blog. It will not disappoint.

Ahhh yes, the land of the love birds.
What a happy little land this is.
It is a place filled with rainbows, butterflies, and non-fat calorie free chocolate!
But some of us still live in the real world.
And in this real world, we are exposed to the lovey dovey world...
... but as an outsider.
There is one thing we outsiders have a hard time understand
--and that thing--
is the Pet Name!
You regular Shay readers probably know her hunky hubs Andrew as DDHP (Drew Drew Hot Pants)
This is by far the best pet name of all time. It is slightly tongue in cheek, totally hilarious, and acceptably used by all.
However, many pet names (and couples) are not half as awesome.
Here are some examples of those that do not measure up to the Shay, DDHP name (I found a register online of pet names):
* Lamb chop- I mean come on... who says that in public with a straight face?
*Tarzan- let's leave that in the bedroom
*Squishy (chunky)- because offensive terms of endearment are in?
*Sparky- commonly found on dog collars
* My king- it's 2011
*Tramp- I'm just going to tell myself that is a typo (?)
Now I have a request...
and it may be difficult...
because this is pretty personal...
But, what pet names do you use?

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you Rissy for helping me out! I'm so glad that Drew Drew Hot Pants is an acceptable pet name haha. It's pretty awesome right y'all!? HAHA. Just kidding. I mean, he has to love it because his name on Call of Duty is DDHP. We keep it cool here in the Nelson household.

Rissy, I love you and seriously adore the ever livin' mess out of you. I can't wait for you to have a hot dude with an Australian accent. ;) Perhaps call him The Thunder from Down Undahhh? ;) Jk. I know you will appreciate this.

Have a wonderful Monday guys! It's a short work week. Can I get a hellz to the yeah? Or an Amen!? Whatever floats your boat! This lady is ready for some turkey! :)

Guest Post: Shalyn (no, not me!)

7.01.2011

Yes, you read that right. SHALYN is guest posting for me today (isn't that crazyyyyyyyy that we have the same name and spell it the exact same way!?) I've gone my entire life not knowing a SHALYN (same spelling and everything) and then BOOM! I found her. I call her my twinkie!

Photobucket

Hi all, My name is Shalyn! No really, it is! I know- what are the odds that two crazy girls are both named Shalyn spelled the same way? Not likely, ill tell you that!

The other, more beautiful Shay asked me to blog over here in her lovely space and I am so excited to be here! Usually you can find me coming at you via Laugh Until Your Cheeks Hurt from Arizona where I live with my hubby.

I want to tell you today about a talent that I have. I know what my regular readers are thinking- "SERIOUSLY, another talent? Isn't Call of Duty, bow hunting and gorgeous husband-finding enough?" You would think so, but I have one more to add-eating. You don't think that's a talent? Try downing 12 Jack in the Box tacos in 30 minutes, then tell me its not a talent!

Because I have this talent for eating and obviously have a responsibility to develop that talent as much as possible, I have to do different things to ensure that my body doesn't show that I am a champion eater. One of those things is running and the other one that I just discovered is making green smoothies.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND- I am a very basic eater. Give me pizza and fries any day and I am happy. I was very leery of trying green smoothies but I SWEAR to you, you cannot taste the greens that you put in. Its like reaping the benefits of eating a salad without eating the salad!
I drink a green smoothie everyday and not only are they delicious- they are easy! You can find tons of yummy recipes online but since I am new to green smoothie world, I have started with the most basic recipe-

60% spinach
40% fruit (I use banana, blueberries and strawberries!)
+just enough milk to be able to blend the ingredients

Its easy as that! If you have never tried a green smoothie, start simple like me and then start adding more nutritious ingredients! Then, maybe you can afford to develop a talent like mine!

Peace, love and ridiculous (ly awesome) talents! Thanks for letting me borrow your space Shay #2!

---------------------------------------------
You can follow me twinkie here.

Thank you SHALYN!!!!!!!! (It's so weird typing that!?) :) :) :)

Enjoy your 4th of July weekend! I'll be back next week to recap on my vacation! Whoop! Whoop!

Guest Post: Ashley!

6.30.2011

Hi friends!

The beautiful Ashley from Adventures of Newlyweds is guest posting today! I visit Ashley's blog all the time and I'm pretty sure you will adore her just as much as I do. Her life is one great adventure (hence her blog title) and she always has pretty pictures to gawk at. Not to mention her dog Bella is a little muffintoot! Piper and Furlee have a BIG crush. Just sayin'...

Photobucket

Hello! I am Ashley from Adventures of Newlyweds.
The lovely Shalyn asked me to guest post and I am pumped, because this is my very first guest post ever!
I suppose I should introduce myself since you all probably have no clue who I am.
Photobucket
I am Ashley, a 20-something English Literature student. Before moving to Michigan with my family, I lived 10 years in Georgia and thus have a love for all things Southern including Alabama Football. I love to cook, bake, EAT, craft, shop and blog. I especially love meeting new friends (which is kind of hard to do while moving every few months-- so just know that I love you, blog friends). If I am not in the kitchen, cooking things like shaved asparagus pizza or pumpkin chocolate chip muffins , I might be found singing or leading worship; but no matter what I am always pursuing what the Lord has planned for our lives...

Jonathan graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in June 2010. He practiced for a year in Portage, Michigan and is now employed as a contract therapist, traveling every three months to a new clinic. He has played soccer from grade school to grad school and continues pursuing his passion for the sport. If you can't find him playing Call of Duty, you can probably find him (unsafely) playing with fire. Sweet and romantic, he is the best husband and best friend I could have ever asked for...
Photobucket
And I can't forget about our baby Bella, the sweetest little yorkie poo puppy EVER. I treat her like my child and it is kind of pathetic. Currently she looks like a boy because we got the bright idea to try and give her a haircut ourselves with the clippers. She is pretty butch right now!
Photobucket
We are newlyweds as of September 12, 2010.
Since being married we have embarked on the journey of "travel therapy".
This means every three months, we pack all of out stuff and move to a new locale in the U.S.
Right now, while we don't have little Slaters running around we figured this is a great time to explore and see the country!
We map our travels and we are currently living in Colorado Springs, Colorado, which has been so much fun!
Maybe we will be in YOUR part of the country next? Where my blogger friends at?!
Photobucket
Please come visit and follow along as we travel the country and try and eat, cook, explore and have as many adventures as possible!
And thanks to Shalyn for asking me to guest post! Isn't she just the greatest? I think so :)

-ashley

Thank you SO much Ashley!

Y'all go check her out over here!

Be sure to check back in tomorrow. You won't want to miss it.

Guest Post: Jenni

6.29.2011

This introduction will not do this lady justice. I'm sure most of you KNOW who Jenni is here in blog world, and if you don't, then you are in for a real treat. This lovely lady is one of my all time favorite bloggers. She writes beautifully, and always has a great story to tell, whether it's heartfelt, or darn right hilarious. We are both living in Austin (whoop whoop) and I just can't WAIT to meet her SOON<---(Promise, Jenni). I have a feeling we will be REAL LIFE besties very soon. SO without further ado... Photobucket

Hello readers of the Nelson Diaries!
My name is Jenni, and Shalyn and I are neighbors!  Well, neighbors in the sense that we both live in Austin, Texas (though we're yet to have our first "blate" [blate=blogger date!]).
I feel priviliged to live so close to such a sweetheart! ;)
As I pondered what to write for my guest post, I started skimming through my photo library on my computer for inspiration. And I got lost for a little while. I started at the beginning, and looked through old folders I hadn't viewed in many months.  It brought me back to long-since passed seasons of my life--and as I viewed those years-old pictures, I realized that the girl I was then simply isn't the girl I am now.
I'm older now, for one thing.  A little wiser.  A little more comfortable in my skin.  A little more confident in the direction of my future.
Now you may be thinking, "is there a point here?"
And yes, I have a point.
The point, and the thing that suddenly became clear to me as I was sifting through those old photos, is that WE ARE ALWAYS CHANGING.  But not only are we always changing--we are also making choices about that person we'll be in the future.
Some of why we become who we become is left to chance, but most of it isn't.  And as I looked back on those old photos and thought about why I'm different now, I realized that, mostly, it was because of choices I had made.
And then I became grateful that my younger self had been looking out for me.
I guess all I wanted to say to you, sweet people, is to make the kind of choices that you'll be proud of when you're flipping through old photo albums and you see that person you once were.  Everyday you get the chance to reinvent yourself a little.
Thank goodness, right?
PS - Drop in and visit me anytime! I love to make new friends. :)

I love this post so much Jenni. Thank you so much! BLATE SOON! ;)

Guest Post: Rissy

6.28.2011

I seriously LOVE Rissy to pieces. She is so funny, and the fact that she takes pictures of herself making crazy faces makes me love her even more. We text all the time and I cannot wait to meet her in October (YES, YOU ARE GOING TO VEGAS RISSY! NO MATTER WHAT!) and her stories are always very entertaining. She's my muffin!

Photobucket

What up, gangstaaaa?

Ok sorry. Now that I have that out of my system, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Rissy from Carissa Explains It All, and I happen to think Shalyn is one of the sweetest people I have ever (not) met. Which is why when she asked me to guest post, I jumped up and down. (and then forgot about it... and had to be reminded two days ago... oopsies).

So here we are...

And instead of telling you a bit about myself, I thought I'd tell you a bit about some strangers.

You see, I work in a retail store. I deal with the general public every day. And my oh my how interesting it is. So without further ado let's meet some characters.

I Think I'm Someone Even Though No One Else Does Lady: I had the pleasure of being at the registers on a day the store was giving away a free beach towel to every customer who spent at least $75. And by every customer, I mean the first 23 customers.... because that's how many towels corporate sent us. And poor us. Who knew people would go so wild over a beach towel.... A little after noon that day we were out of towels and searching for a plan to appease customers who came in specifically for that rectangular piece of fabric. Solution: customer service will send you a towel after you contact them... oh but it's going to take 4-6 weeks. : /
By the near end of the evening I was so used to the "call customer service for your towel" shpeal, I was practically immune to people's reactions. Then a lady hit me with this "well when they see my last name, they'll send it faster."
***Crickets***
I'm sorry guys, but I live in a town that has a lot of farms... in Western, MD. People in our town and mall dress and behave in a way that can only be described as redneck WAYY too often. I have a feeling if there were someone living here that would make a large corporation take notice, we'd all know about it.
Her uhhh confidence? truly blew. my. mind.

Photobucket

I Think I'll Take to The Cashier While My Girlfriend Steps Away Guy: Let me preface this by saying, I had seen this guy with his girlfriend in the store way before they stepped up to the register. And he was explaining to her that the item she wanted to purchase would in fact NOT be 19.99 after tax... because tax adds 5 cents to every dollar... so that would make it.... (when he started doing the math I really had to walk away). I assume they figured out the price and counted their nickels and dimes, because the couple eventually made it to the counter. Then the girl stepped away... and her boyfriend decided to start talking to another cashier about his shopping habits. "Well I can buy 10 muscle t's for the price she's getting just one thing for... and I just bought a muscle t but they forgot to give me the muscles."
***Crickets***
Really guy? Really, you just said that???
I'm going to be honest with you guys... the two girls I was helping and I started laughing... loudly... and a little uncontrollably... one girl actually had to step away. It was that awkward/awesome.

Photobucket

Where Are Your Parents "Customers"- On Friday nights, the mall I work in becomes a playground... for unattended teeny boppers. They really like to come into our store and show their age. I have a tendency to ignore them, walk away, or discuss how their parents allowed them to leave the house wearing that with other employees. My manager however tries to get them to leave by asking them if they need help. I know it sounds odd, but the last thing these kids want is attention from a store employee. So one Friday night, a group of girls is giggling their way through the store, and my manager approaches.
"hi ladies, what can I help you shop for?"
"uhh we're just looking.."
"well did you see what you're looking at is 5 for $25?"
"oh well we don't have any money"
.....
Seriously... can we kick people out if they say that sentence? I really think we should be able to.

Photobucket

Those are all the stories I'll share for now, but believe me I have more.
In fact, I come into contact with a new character every single day.
It can be truly entertaining.

I hope you were all as amused as I am by these stories.
And if you were, I have a very similar post over on my own blog. : )

I really have no words for what you guys are about to see. I did a vlog on my own blog a few weeks ago where I rapped some hardcore Nicki Minaj…yeah…so hardcore! Anywho, I’ve been asked to show some of my sweet dance moves (if I had any).

As a matter of fact, I do. I’m the type of girl that will stop, drop, and dance in any situation. I dance in grocery stores as I put apples into baggies, I dance while pumping gas, and I dance in the shower. Why not dance for you guys!?

Enjoy!

Hope I didn’t scare you guys away!

Shalyn, hope you are having the best time ever!

A stellar and proper introduction is necessary for this lovely lady but I believe her post clearly sums it up.

Let's just say this: YOU ARE CRAZY to not want to be friends with her. CRAZY I tell you.

When I first found her blog, her pictures of cheetos, hilarious faces, super model looks (she's really a model, don't let her fool you), and her pictures of her food made me drool. Literally. She's quite the babe and I love...LOVE her sense of humor. She's basically living in Europe doin' her thaaaang which is awesome, no?

I love you Megan. Like...for realzzzz yo.

Hi Party people
(assuming bloggers like to party)
and by party I mean blog, pin, twitter, and FB..
I am Megan from Across The Pond

^ that would be me linking to myself with an attractive photo of me
because in the blog world there is no shame in self promotion..
we will do whatever it takes to get noticed and make friends..
heck, we even pay for friends.
(sponsors anyone?)

So in attempt to make you be my friend
(I already got Shalyn...muwahaha)
here are some enticing photos of myself straight from my place in web

i eat tubs of ice cream

i also eat snow when im out of ice cream..resourceful..

i ride elevators in stride

I use my face to save food as to not waste it.
